The Homestay- facilities and tariff

There is provision to make tea or coffee and we provide fresh towels, linen, shampoo, and soap.
Breakfast is complimentary. Typically, it is South Indian cuisine with Dosa, Idli, Poori, etc.

We are happy to cater to your needs with toast, egg, or other special requests.

We can provide safe drinking water. Please avoid bringing plastic bottles to the eco-sensitive Nilgiris. 

We are sorry that we cannot provide accommodation for drivers or have them stay overnight in the vehicle. Happy to arrange for a room nearby.

SMOKING IS NOT ALLOWED inside the rooms. We restrict the use of hard liquor on campus.

We prefer to host only families. Exceptions are solo travelers, groups that would

like to book the entire place, school children etc.

There is the possibility of wild elephants wandering into the property in spite

of the solar electric fence.

We advise all guests to be alert and not venture out in the dark.

All rooms have Wi-Fi 

1. The two cottages named Govind and Guntu.

Accommodates 4 at Rs 4000 per night

Each has two double bedrooms, a drawing–cum–dining room, kitchen and a small sit out.

There are two bathrooms in each; one attached to the bedroom and one with

access from the dining area.

The kitchen is provided with a gas stove, refrigerator and utensils.

2. Four double rooms named Arjun, Madhav, Karthika and Krishnendu:

Accommodates 2 at Rs 1800 per night

The four rooms are set in two floors.

All have attached bathrooms and a common front veranda.

The two on the ground floor have an additional private veranda each.

There is a table and Wi-Fi connection for anyone who would like to “work from home”.

3. The Farmhouse (Amma’s house)

Accommodates 4 Rs 5500 per night

This comprises of two bedrooms with attached bath, a large drawing dining space,

kitchen and a large veranda spanning the entire front of the house.

The hanging cot and traditional easy chairs on the veranda makes it an amazing place to chill out.

It has good Wi-Fi and plenty of space to work.

4. Two room unit- Revathy

Accommodates 4 Rs 2000 per night

This is attached to the main farmhouse. It opens outside into a pretty veranda and

overlooks the garden. It has two rooms: one with a king size bed and the other with a full bed.

There is one common bathroom opening into the second room.

Ideal for families with children.

5. A basic room- Raghunath

Accommodates 2 Rs 1000 per night

A small bedroom is adjacent to the cottage with plenty of windows.

It has a spacious enclosed sit out and an attached bathroom.

It has two twin beds and has no Television or cooking facilities.

6. The rooms with a view at Mulakkal house

These two exclusive rooms on the first floor of the new house; about five minutes’

walk from our gate, has fabulous views of a large stretch of the mountain range.

Large glass windows help make the most of this view.

You can see random deer grazing and an occasional elephant walking by.

Watch out for wild boar when you step out in the night.

Accommodates 2 each

Rs 1800 per night for the smaller room

Rs 2000 per night for the bigger room.

The tariff mentioned is for the number of persons indicated.

Extra persons will be charged Rs 500 per night.

Extra beds can be provided on request.

Concessions will be provided for booking duration of more than one week

as well as for bulk booking.
